Ok, Im watching the trough scene again.

The point of the bat is to destroy the brain right? Then the exsanguination is drain the blood obviously. With Greg Nicotero directing, Im surprised we didnt see the skulls actually being destroyed by the bat. Those four end up flailing with each swing its not obvious they are destroying the brain, at first it looks like they are just knocking em out.

It appears they are merely "stunning and sticking" (slicing in this case) in order to incapacitate and exsanguinate... Just like a commercial cattle slaughter plant would do. On a side note, it appears that the compound at Terminus WAS a commercial slaughter facility. All the stainless equipment, near the rr tracks, etc.

How can you guys watch this show weekly and not recognize the blond guy the instant you see him? Just curious. Crowd in the Talking Dead reacted similarly.

Well heres the thing, if they dont kill the brain, the blood loss will make the dead turn walker. We have seen this happen in under 10 mins.

Wouldnt it make more sense to Anton Chigur the brain immediately, then drain, so you dont risk your cattle turning zombie. That would be bad meat, right?

I do find it funny the first person Rick sets free is Glen.

Last night he made a mention on if he 'red rings' if I heard that correctly. I got the 'red ring of death' on by Xbox 360 one time where it just randomly broke, figure he was referring to that.

I'm still not sure which blond guy we're talking about. One of the two in the butcher shop opening scene? I guess they both just seemed like generic white guy extras to me.

Man this was what I was hoping for in a season premire. I was really worried we would get 6-7 episodes of Terminus and it would drag out with cuts back to Carol/Tyreese and Beth and their adventures. Some how based on the end of the show I have a feeling they will be coming back there.

I didn't catch the blonde guy at all, I thought it was just some random throwaway. He was on screen for about 10 minutes of one episode and was pretty much just filler then since it was about Rick kicking out Carol so for him to just randomly show up and expect viewers to recognize him was maybe asking too much and in my mind it really didn't add anything to that scene.

I don't understand how "good" Terminus people let the tattooed "bad" Terminus people live? I would think they would have killed them first off to eliminate that threat. Then again logic doesn't work well in this show.

I'm really liking badass Carol. I think she is turning into more of a Shane type role and it will be interesting to see any conflict arrises between her and Rick given their past history.

They were trying to help people and do good. They said it directly in the flashback in the first scene. "We were being human beings" or something to that effect.

• Good people set up Terminus.
• Bad people took over Terminus, being rather nasty to the good people.
• Good people somehow take Terminus back.
• Good people turn bad so they are never again the cattle.

That about sums it up.

So many Wire actors.

I'll wait foo Omar or Snoop to come in and show them a thing or two on how to blast some walkers.

So, I wonder why we are supposed to believe that eight men lined up to be slaughtered would sit passively by and watch as their turn is coming. There would be a lot my fighting. They may die in the end, but they'd definitely make the effort to take out/damage their butchers, no?
