So did I hear this right, according to the Talking Dead, the dude on the slab was the brother of the Leader, they were the two sons of Mary (the cook). The dead brother was the guy Rick held at gunpoint in the previous season's finale.

Ok, did I make this sequence up in my head or is this what I saw?

1. Rick and the boys are kneeling at killing trough.

2. Blast happens and shtf

3. Then we see carol sneaking up to fence to blow sheet up (which she does, after she sees rick and the boys being roughed up on rr tracks).

4. Rick and the boys are back at trough and Rick goes beast mode and slices up butchers.

It was a mini flashback. Carol's tank explosion is what interrupted the trough slaughter.

I understood who did what and when. Just annoyed with the stupid flashbacks sometimes in this show. I see how it makes sense but it still annoys me. Great episode. The opening seen was... I don't even know what to say.

I think it was better the way they did it. The scene at the trough would not have had a hopeless tone to if we knew the whole time that Carol was outside preparing to blow crap up.
