I'm not a doctor and don't have anything to base this on other than my eyes... but I have a hard time believing it was just because of asthma

Maybe this had been announced before and I missed it but I'm seeing WrestleMania 43 will be in Riyadh. $150 million from the Saudis.

I'm not sure I like WWE at all anymore. Does anyone still watch?

Crown Jewel will be Saudi Arabia next month, have fun with that. They've made a few blunders recently - the Raw move to Netflix limits exposure, I'm not going to flip back and forth between MNF or college basketball to Netflix to watch.

Then moving PPVs to ESPN Unlimited was another. Luckily I can watch again with YouTubeTV, but a year without PPVs dropped my interest.

I attempted to watch earlier this year leading up to one of the premium live events and SmackDown was complete garbage. In a 3-hour show there may have been five matches total and a bunch of stupid, nonsensical segments. If I was a fan paying to see that show in person I would have been so pissed off.

They don't do house shows and a lot of guys don't get to wrestle very much on TV anymore, so there's so much live performance inexperience out there. I get a lot of their people come from NXT but it's still not the same. The in-ring work from the mid and lower cards (when they do get to wrestle on camera) is just bad.

It going to Netflix killed it for me. I wasn't watching Raw every Monday but I would occasionally stumble on it and listen to Solomonster podcast for recap. With Netflix it's out of sight out of mind and I haven't kept up with the podcast so i really have no clue what's going on now. I think that last Rock return being a big letdown actually did it for me.

Ric Flair fell outside of a Tampa bar and hit his head. He canceled an event earlier this week due to diagnosis of blood clots.

Also as for being clean... what for like a week? My buddy lives in Tampa and said he's out drinking at bars constantly. He's extremely easy to run into. The place he fell down is his main spot.

If you go to The Pearl restaurant you have about a 50% chance of seeing him at the bar getting **** faced.

He's had so many false finishes and final matches. The Nature Boy always gets one shoulder up at the end.

Event still scheduled, just moving moving locations in Riyadh. They should still cancel it.

I could see the US / Saudi governments having a joint exercise to provide security in Riyadh and try to use the event to garner some good PR. We've been allies for a good while now and the WWE has a history with Trump in politics that might have some influence. It'd also probably the only way to convince everyone traveling there from the US that the event will actually be safe.

Then the US provides an air escort for the wrestlers flying in to flex their air power a bit, Saudi displays some extra military/security forces to try and show it's safe to visit now, they have some US / Saudi troops in the crowd showing we're friends and sending messages back home to their families and all that... They could make it an impromptu Tribute to the Troops like they used to do in Baghdad during the Iraq war and have the most patriotic crowd possible.

There's a TKO boxing match this weekend. Fighters flew into Bahrain then had to bus 5 hours over.
