Yes and it was great. And Cody cut one of the best in ring live promos I've seen in ages. Fantastic go home show that made me want to order the PPV.

I'm amazed how much better this company is than WWE currently which I'm on the verge of tuning out completely.

WWE has forgotten that part of their acronym stands for 'Entertainment'

Great promos are entertaining.

People want to laugh, cheer, hoot, boo, scream, whatever, at promos, it is one of the reasons they go to matches.

Who does the best promos in WWE right now? I like Elias, but who else is there?

Rhodes did a terrific job here. I waiting for him to say "grandson of a plumber".

As much as I really don't care for the Miz, he's pretty good on the mic.

On the women's side, Lynch and Banks probably stand out the most to me. I have heard much from Rhea Ripley in NXT, but she could be great all around.

Part of WWE's problem is the show length and filling time with 15 minute promos. Cut that number down so what they say is more impactful and use the bottom of your roster to fill the time with wrestling.

Elias is definitely great. Think of that eight straight minutes of heat he caught in Philly. The Miz and Seth Rollins are awesome on the mic as heels. Unfortunately they're not being used properly right now and look at what it's done to Rollins recently.

The New Day of course cut great/fun promos but that's about all I can think of other than Bray's Firefly Funhouse.

I tried to stream it but it buffered too much. Said screw it and paid up. Surprisingly don't feel bad about it based on what I've seen w aew thus far on dynamite.
