Cory has his moment. I just think they have horrible chemistry.. and I love Renee as an interviewer but she sucks on the announce table. I don't know why she is there.

I wish they would have gone with Stephanie .. she is a good heel announcer and better at it then Renee. Ideally someone like Paige would be the an announcer but every time Paige has done it .. she was not much better then Renee.

After the first 2 matches .. that Ambres guy is in the lead. Nobody had Sami winning in the second round so it is still anyone game... (mind you that we are all (maybe not Bunk) SOL if Kevin Owens gets knocked out in the first round)

I don't know whats going on above but buddy Murphy is alive. Gotta believe!

Tony joins AEW. Looking for more info, but apparently he's also been offered a position in the broadcast booth with the Jacksonville jaguars. The rumor was WWE was also pursuing him for a full-time gig for one of their shows. One of my favorite play by play guys ever.

Meltzer is reporting he would just be working Wednesday shows in a more of backstage role, but would join the commentary booth for the big events.

It is Meltzer though -- so who knows.

These near fall make me think that Buddy is not going to win.
