My favorite part was Andy talking about ice cream, then realizing that maybe there's no ice cream in England and starts trying to describe what ice cream is before giving up and just asking Ben if they can get some.

"History began on July 4, 1776. Everything before that was a mistake."

I think I remember hearing that Pratt was over in London filming his movie and the Parks and Rec producers decided to fly the cast out there to film.

Ron's Scotland adventure was about as good as it gets. Him trying to act like Leslie's Robert Frost poem didn't get to him was perfect.

I lied how they brought up his weight loss. I stopped drinking beer.

This doesnt look right

There are some shorts on nbc.com with Ron. One has him trying to buy a guy's house that is 100 yards from the distillery.

I loved it. Fantastic show.

Ron's offer on the short to the homeowner was classic:

"I have lots of gold and greenbacks that you could convert to whatever fake-looking currency you use in Scotland."

Just got caught up, I died laughing at the Chris Bosh cameo and him telling the high schooler he's better than him at french horn too.

Sam Elliot as hippie Ron was great.

This show has become a complete parody of itself. I am done with it.

It kinda has. This is probably the final or penultimate season.

Ron's first joke

I don't think it has become a parody of itself, but I share y'alls grievances to the slightest extent. It's still my favorite sit-com on right now.

However, seasons 1 and 2 were all over the place and didn't have the greatest overall direction. Season 3's injection of Chris and Ben gave the show's star a direction to go and it rose through season 4 and into season 5. With the wedding things obviously get comfortable for the star and now it begins to lose a track again.

I think in this season you are seeing more season 1 and 2 but with comfortable actors across the stage. It tends to leave things stale at times, I agree.

However, if they can keep me laughing enough for 1.5 more seasons I'll be very happy with the series. I have loved it even when the show seemed lost at times.

They need to remember the secondary characters like Jerry/Gary/Larry, Donna, Jean-Ralphio, Jamm and early Andy (before he was featured) are what makes the show great. Just Ron and Leslie would be good, but the rest of the cast is what takes it up a notch.

Are Chris and Anne leaving the show?

I don't know how that should be treated on this thread. Articles have already come out regarding that so it really isn't a spoiler but for people who haven't seen that it may come off as one.

Maybe if you delete that real quick you'll know my answer to your question and I'll delete this quasi spoiler explanation real quick.

Oh cmon, it's a sitcom, not Breaking Bad or something. Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones are leaving the show at episode 13. Rob Lowe has already booked a sitcom with NBC next season. It's all over the internet and nothing NBC or the P&R team is even trying to keep quiet.

Also ratings say this is probably the last season anyway.

And say what you will, but this show is still firing on "lovable familiarity" as opposed to "a mockery of it's former self" than The Office (from the same folks) or Modern Family are doing/did in the same point in their runs.

I think its still funny. I probably mostly watch for just Swanson though.

I enjoyed last night's episode.

I look forward to it each week still. The characters are great. I do agree that more of the secondary characters is what makes it so enjoyable to me.

This show is absolutely still greatness. Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones really won't be missed. Chris is a pretty decent character, but Anne is honestly pretty worthless. Jerry and Donna are both way funnier than them.

Seriously Donna needs to start getting some credit. She's awesome.

But I definitely miss Andy. He's probably my favorite character on tv.

Anne's only real worth is as someone for Leslie to fawn over, which never gets old.

On a sidenote, I never really realized it in the first couple of seasons, but watching reruns on FXX I've noticed Mark Brendanawicz was a terrible character.
