She told Vytas information, given to her in confidence, without discussing it with anyone else. If she had said "Hey, let's let Vytas know" to Monica or Tina before they had the chat, she'd probably be fine. But it's hard to trust her to be in an alliance going forward- she's liable to play with her heart instead of her head, and she's shown she won't keep secrets.

*Monica has a vindictive streak in her. She demonstrated that in her smarmy speech to John regarding the immunity clue. She probably should have accepted the clue this time, since she has the numbers on her side.
*I am not a Tyson fan. He comes off like an arrogant ***** to me.
*Vytas has a silver tongue. He makes very compelling arguments at tribal. I'll be interested to see how things work out after the merge.

The women's one goal should have been to get Vytas out before the merge if they went to tribal council and they failed miserably twice to do it.

They thought they could "trim the fat" in their own tribe and then knock him out, but the preview reveals that they've failed and he's through to the merge while they've voted out 2 people that while morons, probably would have voted the way the other 4 of them wanted them to vote.

The thing that keeps playing in my mind, and perhaps it's how they're editing it, is that it's no guarantee that Vytas and Aras are going to agree on who to vote out when they get together, and it could turn into the greatest thing ever when one of them (95% probability Vytas) blindsides the other one.

Tyson is a d-bag, but he's funny and he's honest in his interviews, which I like. My favorite players are always the ones who are very self-aware that this is TV and act accordingly.

What I'm surprised that no one has said yet is that Cat basically destroyed her boyfriend's chances of winning by gushing on how smart he was and how no one ever had a bad thing to say about him. Thanks for putting his head on a platter, dummy!

There relationship will last 1 week after they leave. They just got together right before the show. Methinks he did it to get on Survivor with this twist.

Aras was foolish as a former winner to feel so confident.

From the edit, I feel like Tyson has a shot at final three, but I don't know if he can win the whole thing. He just seems too arrogant to me.

The previews show a post-tribal blow up next week, so who knows how things will shake out? Vytas will perpetually be targeted, while some others (Gervase, Monica & Hayden) can manuever under the radar for a bit.

I suppose it doesn't really matter now that Tyson has the idol. They don't realize it, but burning the clue will continue to be the way to go, as it would only put a target on you for the sake of searching for an idol that isn't there anymore.

I really wish they would ditch Redemption Island once they get to the merge. At that point, you're getting voted out because you're outplayed, not because your tribe didn't like you.

I gotta say for basically being comic relief for most of the season, Gervase is starting to look smarter and smarter as he stays under the radar and lets the big personalities - Tyson, Aras, Tina, Monica, etc. hammer away at each other.

The pairs totally dicked this up. They gotta know that the first order of business of the singles is to break up the pairs. Their only chance was to band together and pick off the singles.

I could be wrong, but I didn't take it that way at all. I think he genuinely thought that he and his brother would control the herd and make it all the way to the end. Reference the "either one of us could beat anyone in the finals" comment that he made to Aras, which I think was sincere at the time. To me, his look said that the path he'd imagined had just been blown to pieces, and he's busy recalculating everything as quickly as possible.

At that moment, he didn't know where he stood anymore. And if only for this small part of the game, he realized that he had been outplayed. I didn't read the look as being smug. I saw it as disbelief. I think any expression from Vytas at that point had more to do with the other members of the tribe than it had to do with Aras. He knows he has to go back to work immediately.

Ciera should be following her mother's lead, not the other way around. Their most recent example of this sort of mistake will ending up costing both of them their spots in the tribe.

For all the gloating they did, being a swing vote means youre at the bottom of your alliance.

And Aras really screwed up not going with the pairs. He really got duped by Tyson and Gervaise.

Tina and Katie both voted for Ciera while Aras and Vytas voted for Laura M. They are all equally idiotic.

not necessarily...it just means that both alliances think you are with them... and it gives you a chance to swing the game one way or the other.... and you are most likely going to piss off one of the alliances no matter what you do

Who was the last swing vote that won?

I didn't say it was a a good place to be in... b/c you end up pissing off the alliance that you snub... but it doesn't mean you were at the bottom of either... just that you were in a place of trust of both alliances... and you had to chose which way to go

And youre being a pawn and considered the lowest of your alliance.

Can Monica recover from her mistakes?
