I meant to lump Baldwin and Caprio under the constant agenda and other celebrities as bad mouthing Christianity.

I'm not saying that what Gibson said wasn't bad, I simply think it is completely hypocritical to single out Gibson and not care about other celebrities who bad mouth a creed or worldview that YOU don't like, as well. If you want a list of those actors, then do the research yourself if you actually care (which I'm sure you don't care what they have to say because i'm sure you wouldn't be offended).

That is why I brought up other celebrities as well. I hate people who bring up topics like this and disregard others who do the exact same thing simply because what those other celebrities say doesn't rub them the wrong way.

EDIT: I also wasn't the first person to mention those two, someone else did.

And just because I singled out Mel Gibson doesn't mean I'm "ok" with everything else every other Hollywood actor has said. That is horrible logic, and you are making big assumptions.

I have never said Leo DiCap has made any HATEFUL remarks towards anyone. I said Baldwin did to his daughter.

But we are talking palatability of actors here. I find the liberal crap that the likes of Baldwin and Sean Penn , ect to be far more damaging to this country than an old dude with some prejudiced views against Jews who he obviously picked up from his dad.

So if I'm willing to pay to see a movie that I think is good with those other celebs in them, Gibson is no different in my view.

I watched Payback on TV this weekend. Very underrated movie.

I think that the original topic was more along the lines of questioning how he would get work in an industry highly influenced by Jews when he has voiced some very vile opinions of the guys writing the checks.

Dude's movies have grossed $3.7BB worldwide, even without adjusting for inflation. And that's just as an actor. Toss another 3/4 of a billion on top of that number for Apocalypto and The Passion for his directorial movies.

I have no idea what his total would be if calculated up for Icon Productions as well.

Long story short, the dude has always made good movies. His image is tainted, but as long as he's an earner, he's going to get work because his movies cash in more often than not.

That's why he still gets work. It's also why people still buy Kobe Bryant jerseys.

He makes great movies.

He is a great actor.

People like to make money.

A lot of people don't know about the anti-semitism and other stuff... he has a big name and it's still a draw to some people.

The guy got kicked off the cast of The Hangover 2, yet they made it a point to include Mike Tyson, a convicted rapist, for a cameo.

Because Mike Tyson is a big scary black guy. That trumps anti-semitic white guy.
