I didn't realize Little Miss Sunshine and Burn After Reading were comedies. I've seen both.



I haven't seen enough comedies to make a really good list, but some comedies I liked were Anchorman, Monty Python, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and Cool Runnings.

False. If anything, it was a tragedy in the Greek sense of the word. It had a few funny moments but in spite of the fact that I liked it... overall just not funny.

Perhaps the coens' level of comedy, as I said, is over your head.

That's off the top of my head. Also... Is Dazed and Confused a comedy? I know it was, but I don't think of it as a movie that was going for laughs. Same with Fast Times at Ridgemont High and several others.

As for some of the classic greats like Animal House and Blazing Saddles..... I just wasn't old enough to appreciate them when they were current.

Vacation was funny to me as a kid, but even funnier 20 years later as a dad.
