I want to take my girlfriend out to eat somewhere tonight and I'm having trouble picking a place. I want a sit down meal (i.e. not Freebirds) but I want to pay around $25 (i.e. not too expensive). I was thinking something along the lines of Chilis or Cheddars but we go to both of those places too much. We don't like TGI Fridays, but apart from that anything else sounds good. Let me know of you have any good ideas. Thanks all.

Cenare
Luigi's

Grapevine or Cafe Excell was the place to go when I went to A&M. Don't know if they're still around or still good.

Cenare was good when I was there...maybe not for a first date, but third or fourth date. Of course, that was ten years ago now, so who knows?

Be careful posting on that other board though...one person will mention a restaurant and then it'll turn into one big pissing match between people who love it and people who hate it.

We went to Dickey's - haven't been there in a while. We've been dating for 2 1/2 + years so we've been around the block. Thanks for all the places though, I'll definitely be checking them out.

You need to take her to Maddens in downtown Bryan. That is our favorite place to eat when we come into town.

Back in my day it was the Texan! The Grapevine was more of a first date place???
