John Goodman is outstanding actor. The guy never gets nominated or ever mentioned. I'm not sure why, I think he's terrific in comedy or drame.

I'll agree about John Goodman. AMAZING actor. His last 2 villain roles (Death Sentence, opposite Kevin Bacon and In The Electric Mist, opposite Tommy Lee Jones) were great. Then of course who could forget Big Dan Teague the one eyed Ku Klux Klansman from Oh Brother.

I guess you've only seen the TBS edited version that cuts out the scene with the silent masked figure referred to as "the gimp."


Yes I remember that scene....and you could have gotten anyone to play Bruce Willis' part. I'm not arguing that he isn't a good actor, I like Bruce Willis a lot, but if you want to compare his part in that movie to John Travolta/Samuel L Jackson/Uma/or even Christopher Walkin...they blow him out of the water.
