Those reviews are awesome.

I'll spare the details of my conquests since I started wearing this shirt; suffice to say, I'm swimming in a sea of babes the likes of which are usually found on those K-Tel infomercials. I'm also more confident at work, and expect to be promoted to cashier soon. I owe everything to this shirt (I should say "shirts", since I now own 23 of them).

I didn't read the last few pages, but I loved the episode. Funny all the way through and sweet at the right times. I love this show when it's on its game.

And once again, I'd like to point out that 20ag07 is a real asset to the entertainment board. He is a mini-Sepinwall. Sepinwall's posts are a great supplement to any show and his blog commentors are pretty damned insightful and articulate.

this was hilarious. and actually relateable.

I laughed a little too hard at this during the show and got a "look" from my wife.

Is this the first time the theme song has been sliced down? Ridiculous. One of the few theme songs left on TV, and one of the few that I love. Makes me happy and gets me in an Office mood.

Sad that the state of NBC is so pathetic that they can no longer afford to play the song and must sell that time to advertisers.

it was probably chopped down due the opening.

good episode. i'll get us started.

it sucked. not nearly as good as the old office. it's going down hill.

you're crazy, it was awesome, your expectatios are too high

no you're crazy, micheal is an ass and is not likeable

no you're crazy, micheal is like a distant cousin or at least a second cousin in an odd way

You missed our new favorites:

"I think the writers have gotten writers block or are lazy. I'm not sure which, but it's one of the two."

"Michael, Andy, Toby, Angela, Kelly, Phyllis and Dwight were all acting out of character this week. But not Creed. Now I have to admit, I have only seen half the episodes, and none of them in order, but they seem out of character to me, and that bothers me."

and " I hate this show. I think I'm cancelling it from my DVR. Until next Wednesday, when I'll add it back, so I can complain some more about how much I hate it".

meh. ok episode.

Funniest line: You'd love it in prison.

it was an ok episode. Kevin was nails tonight.

The preview mentioned Erin unwittingly ruining pam's painting...never saw that.

Had it's funny moments. Even when it's not the best episode ever, it's the easiest way to waste 30 minutes watching TV.

***note**just watched the Cinci backup QB go about 70 yards up the middle for a TD...that was awesome

For a new Office it was average to slightly above

I definitely won't complain about it

Kevin stuff was funny...and the insurance guy is from Dumb and Dumber, right?

I would just like to point out that earlier in this thread, I said this:

quote:
I like Jim/Pam, because they bring a level of believability. EVERY character can't be ridiculous. You have to have a couple normal, sane people. That's what Jim and Pam are.

And tonight, Oscar basically said the exact same thing. Therefore, I am awesome and y'all need to worship me, because I clearly have the pulse of this show down to a science. Boo yah!

I thought the episode was ok. Nothing special, just classic Michael being fueled by Dwight and Andy. I thought the mechanic scene with Andy, although predictable, was pretty funny. Kevin's bit in this episode was awesome, and Oscar did pretty well too.

The "You're a mechanic. Why wouldn't you put oil in the car?" line had me dying.

Kevin is quickly becoming my favorite character on the show.

My favorite part of the show was at the beginning when Toby corrected Michael and before Michael even told him to get out, Toby was up and walking towards the door. That was hilarious.

also kevin gets funnier each week I think.

Creed on "small talk"

Best part for me was the intentional line drops from Jim when talking to Michael on the phone.

"...and then...do this...then...if...AND THEN YOU'LL BE SAVED."

"...then do this... or... ...then... AND THEN YOU'LL BE SAVED."

Loved this part. Going to work in "and then you'll be saved" into a conversation today. It could be huge.

Apparently one Sheboygan County Jail inmate isn't a fan of "The Office." Prosecutors said an argument over the NBC sitcom led to a scuffle that resulted in a fresh felony charge against one inmate. The criminal complaint filed this week says two inmates were watching the show last week when 18-year-old Shacoya S. Crawley told them she wanted to watch something else.

The complaint said the inmates refused to give her the remote, so she pulled the hair of a 33-year-old woman and hit her in the face.

When I read the headline "Inmates scuffle over The Office", I was really, really hoping they were fighting over whether the dance down the aisle was funny or not.

you are right, and that's also w3hy I really enjoyed it in the wedding episode when pam is on the phone with jim while andy ices his balls. they're so perfect most of the time, it was funny to see pam a little frustrated. I've also had "no, let's talk for a long time . . ." stuck in my head all week.
