Reaching out to the TexAgs community for movie recommendations. The wife and I are in our early 30's and have a 9 mo old baby girl so we've been out of the loop on movies of late.

We were going to rent a movie tonight from Suddenlink On Demand and were looking for something good and fairly clean (doesn't have to be G by any means). Over the past two weekends we've seen The Changeling and Seven Pounds and really liked them both. Anyone have any good suggestions? Thank you much!

From last year, definitely check out Gran Torino, Benjamin Button, and Slumdog Millionaire

My mom and brother watched the Count of Monte Cristo last night. I came in at the end and was able to see that the Punisher with Thomas Jane was a far better movie, so I recommend that.

The Punisher was enjoyable but The Count of Monte Cristo is MUCH better.

it's like the most racist movie ever, about gangs beating and raping girls, and the saddest ending ever (eastwood movie shocker)

Yeah, definitely not "good and fairly clean" by what I read in the reviews. Not sure that No Country for Old Men fits either, but I do appreciate the suggestions.
