I will point out that I hope I'm wrong. I really want to like this, I was just bummed that the first post-Judgement day Terminator movie includes a robot wanting to help people.

That swimming robot looked pretty cheesy. Other than that, the trailer looked good.

While I tend to agree, PG-13 wasn't around prior to 1984 and it's stretched itself in recent years in my opinion. I think you can still have a good movie with realistic violence and have it rated PG-13 now. The rating won't be this movie's issue.

I think I may have gotten my hopes up too much. A movie about humanity survivng the end of the world and a war against machines just shouldn't be pg13.

ugh, pg13? what a let down.

I've never been excited about this film and I'm about the biggest T1 and T2 fan there is.

I'm just saying, I didn't think there was any way this could fail, but apparently it has.

I'd forgotten this was being done by McG. May have to MST3K it.

Honestly, if you expected this to be a "good" movie in the movie critic sense, you're kind of stupid.

Everyone should be able to figure out for themselves whether they will like it or not. It's not really a secret what's going to happen. As for me, I'll skip it.

Summers are made for movies that are smart and entertaining (we've already seen that with Star Trek) and for movies that are dumb and entertaining. If Salvation falls into that category, I'm okay with it.

And, seriously, if you actually think movie critics are going to give good reviews to a movie like this, you are kidding yourselves.

I think we all know by now, its cool to sh*t on the big, popular movies (even though many deserve it) and even cooler to name some half-obscure, low budget, indie film as the best pic of the year. And its the epitome of cool to sh*t on sequels because they'll NEVER be as good as the first. Its gotten old. I do enjoy many of the critic's picks, but plain and simple if the movie is entertaining for a few hours, I'm satisfied. Anything more than that is gravy. I have faith that Salvation will at least meet that goal. Either way, its only 6 dollars if you go to the early show.
