Never seen the movie, but have been through Happy hundreds of times.

I don't remember the name, but there was a movie partially filmed in Plainview. They painted one of the towns water towers with the "town" name.

ROADIE and OUTLAW BLUES, both set in Austin.

And let's not overlook CURSE OF THE SWAMP CREATURE, which has the distinction of being the only movie made in Uncertain, Texas, near Caddo Lake, a town so close to the state line that nobody was sure what state it is in.
