I am local businessman..and I had to fire a few of my employees recently because of "Soriority Rush"

some didnt show up for work and claimed they had "soriority rush events" they could not get out of..but they didnt bother to call either

others wanted a week and a half off for Soriority Rush

one girl told me if you do not got to the events..they fine you up to $75..I looked at her as if she was the dumbest person I have ever seen for participating in crap like that..

Basically it is a bunch of rich girls who never really found their place in high school, but tried to fit in by sleeping with anything in pants. They come to college to "reinvent" themselves, but decided that they need friends to do this. Someone along the way convinces them that if they join a sorority, these girls will instantly make them popular and introduce them to great guys. They decide to rush. they go to all the Sorority houses and meet the sorostitutes that live in them. Each pledge tries to make herself sound better than she is and give the illusion that she doesn't have to buy friends, she chooses to. Then, after they all leave, the houses decide who they are willing to see again. The pledges also decide what houses they want to visit. They continue this process for a few days until they hopefull find the right match.

how can it possibly take this much time and effort?

in my eyes, most of the girls are clones anyway, so why does it matter so much to get this girl or that?

I was recently informed of how serious the recruiting process is for the sororitys' rush. They make portfolios on all the girls and rate them like recruting college athletes, except on factors like hottness, intelligence, personality, and work ethic. They have like 5 star recruits that they will put extra effort into recruiting over some boring ugo.

When I was told about all of the work and effort that goes into rush, it blew my mind. The already-there girls sit around for a week looking at pictures and portfolios and pictures and saying "She's too fat." or "She's too ugly." or "She has questionable morality. (aka ****ty)" or "She's too country." for our sorority. Then they try to recruit the good ones (that are none of the above). But the key is that the ones that are rushing should make an appropriate choice, because if their picks don't pick them, they are screwed. BUT if you are fat and/or ugly but your mom, all your aunts and your grandma were in the good sorority, they have to take you. So if you see one big un in an otherwise pretty sorority, that's what's known as a "legacy".

i'm so glad i don't have to ride Excel anymore with all the stoopid sorority girls. they irritated me so much.

LM, one of my friends used to drive that route on his bus. All of the perfume would bother his allergies so badly that he ended up having to get a doctor's note saying it wasn't healthy for him. Of course we all called hima poose, but none of us would have wanted to drive it, either.

i'm so glad i didn't go that route...parentals wanted me to, but i thought about it and i really didn't think they would appreciate dead animals on my walls

well, there were always a bunch of fake-baked, bleach blond, cell-phone yappin' bimbos on my bus.

I never went to a tanning salon, dyed my hair, or bought a single bottle of perfume in college. Still haven't.

My friend used to get a lot of charters for the sl*ts.

His greatest moment was sending one of them flying into the windshield because she was being a b*tch.
