I just looked on line on what it took to burn 3500 calories...good lord. Kudos to your work out plan!

FYI, it came out to be like 3.5 hours of competitive sports, 5+ hours of weight lifting, 4 hours of cardio (bike)...(note, for 200lbs).

Keep in mind that you are still burning calories while posting on Texags and even sleeping!

However, I did work out pretty hard yesterday. I did a light arms workout, an hour of spin class, and then played softball in 98 degree heat for 1.5 hours.

I hope to shut down the milk bar before he's old enough to grope me in public and expose my mammaries for his own nourishment.

I think that, sitting at your desk and working/posting on texags, you can reasonably expect to burn 75-100 calories per hour. During sleep, I think it's about half that. It seems to me the numbers on the website must be high for that sort of "at rest" activity.

diehard...most of your calories are burned by your body just operating normally.

3500 burned doing excercise-yes that's quite a lot of excercise.

but if you actually did that in a day, depending on your weight, you'd actually burn somewhere in the ballpark of 5500-6500 cals.

I LOSE weight when i eat under 3000.

You are correct, I apologize for not thinking about that right. However, I was actually more curious what it took to burn that many calories.

It takes me back to my high school days of being able to throw back anything and remain thin due to high metabolism and activity level.

Coworker was on a business flight one time and across the aisle was a woman breastfeeding. When the flight attendants came around with the drink cart, the kid unlatched and said, "I'd like a Coke, please."

Yikes.
