What kind do you use and how much do you usually spend?

Killer Loop?

Me personally, I'm buy the cheap imitation sunglasses from the mall for $10-$12. I cant see spending $150-$200 bills on some sunglasses that will 1) get stolen, 2)get sat on or 3)get lost.

I also have 3 pairs of white house black market

and some random cheapies.

cheap ones...I don't keep them for long so I just buy what I like at Target or Wal*Mart or the cool vintage store....

Oakley - $275 (had them for about 3 years now)

But picked them up through a friend who worked at a bicycle shop. He gave me his employee discount and a dealer discount, so I only paid $85 for them.

tiny - what makes those brands nicer than target or something like that? i mean, i realize there some sunglasses that would break if the wind blew hard enough, but my last gf bought those kinds of glasses and they weren't any nicer or better after they got sat on or scratched

A lot of the cheaper glasses (read most) don't have UV protection. The higher priced ones do... and i like the styles better.

They WILL break if you sit on them though. Go figure.

my $12.99 glasses from Academy are UV-protected, scratch resistant, and look just like Oakley's. Even the FOAKley's I bought in NYC do that.

Don't wanna argue, but I can't justify spending more than $50 on sunglasses. Once they're broken, they're nothing but glass, metal, and plastic with some logo on it.

Kurt wants to get me some Oakley's, but I just can't see spending that kind of money on something that'll get broken or lost.
