Not quite that old...

I was born closer to the end of the Great War than now.

A couple of others...
The Romanov family was execcuted by the Bolsheviks - which became the communist party the same year. Interestingly, the revolutionary leadership elite comprised of only 1/3 of ethnic Russian. The rest were not. Something, something about knowing histiory and being doomed to repeat it.

There was a video production that came out about 1987 called Hullabaloo Caneck Caneck about the history of Aggie football. Narrated by Dave South. They interviewed John David Crow, Jack Pardee, and Gene Stallings about Junction which was about 30 years prior. I remember seeing that in the 1980s thinking those guys were old.


I watched that video again recently. It is on YouTube, I recommend it. It then hit me that I am the same age as the Junction Boys were when they were interviewed for that video. But I haven't done half of the accomplishments they made. That made me feel sad.
