Beautiful summer day in west Georgia/east Alabama. I love these small southern states where you can easily drive 15 miles to get a good bargain. Critters fed, coffee made.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.

• Day 3 of boss out of office. It's so nice.

• Doesn't look like dorm move in is happening at least on this side of campus. Yesterday it was crazy.

Can't tell if McKinney is trying to do secret rolling blackouts. Neighborhood didn't have power yesterday for 2 hours. Went off this morning for 30 minutes

Dedicated a new flagpole in our green space today. It was hot, humid (Georgia) and these old American Legion guys were wearing jackets. I served at Fort Hood and remember people being in dress uniforms in the hot sun and passing out in formation.
Guys, just wear khakis next time.

I'd really like to be petting my dog right now.

My computerized MLB predictions are working well. It's only play money, but so far, I am winning against the sports books. I look at eight lines for each game and then "bet" against the most advantageous line.

Only one final so far today, but I went 10-5 with yesterday's bets. Betting a make believe $100 on each game.
