Based on JMac's post yesterday, I went for fajitas last night and to play Singo. It was fun! I was surprised how many young people knew the words to so many older songs

I can walk on my driveway now. Office day. Pick up the dog after work. Figure out my next big house expense - maybe a shed, but I fear it might be a new HVAC. Air seal and upgrade insulation this fall, but I should be able to DIY that.

I missed the eclipse in Spain. Maybe next year.

Slept a long time last night (almost 9 hours). It's a warm, sunny day in west GA/east AL. Critters fed and coffee made.

I sold something on ebay and mailed it to Newark, DE on 8/6. I want to get paid, which doesn't happen until a few days after delivery. It's absolutely crazy watching USPS packages these days. Mine is on day 3 of it's Delaware Valley Tour. According to google maps, it's currently 13 miles from the delivery address, but still won' t be delivered until tomorrow. It was also 13 miles from the delivery address on Tuesday morning.

Bassett Hound snatched my burrito off the countertop last night that I was going to eat for dinner.

Ordered Benny his first razor today. A Philips Norelco electric from Amazon. Until the last month or two, Benny has had almost no facial hair. Now it's coming in in clumps and is all nasty-looking. Glad he didn't fight me on this.

Running errands while puppydog is at daycare. I miss her when she's there. Here's our official photo from the show last week! Cropped to focus on the part that matters.

• Culvers for lunch
• Currently working in the hotel room.
• Brought my kiddo to Kalahari for a last hoorah before going back to school next week. 2 other families have joined
• Took tomorrow off. Probably do some back to school shopping for said kiddo on way back to town tomorrow
• Will try not to spend all our savings here today/tomorrow.
• I looked at the spa pricing. 25 minute massage ranges from $85-$95. That is just stupid lol.

I didn't know many of the drinking songs. Especially the country and rap ones.

The classic rock was a breeze though. I was close to winning a couple times but didn't have some of the songs on my cards.

I won't be back next week for hip hop night.

I've decided I'm getting Sling this football season. I will subscribe to Orange+Sports Extra (and Cinemax) and not worry about Blue. I won't have the Big Ten Network (no big loss) or FS1 (I'll miss this), but will save $19 per month.

I've always thought of Sling as ghetto. Hopefully they aren't glitchy.

I cancelled my Hulu at the end of college baseball season and haven't missed it without college sports this summer.
