Work from home day. Breakfast with a former colleague. Work. Work out.

Half day at work then road trip to Colorado for a week of riding around in the Rockies.

New bike build is currently underway, hopefully will be ready when I get back to town.

Staying a hotel in my town as new floors are being installed at home. Desk clerk asked me as I was going out to run if I had mapped out my course. Yeah, I run here all the time lady (I didn't say it - she was trying to be nice).

- On the road. Back doesn't hold up as well as it used to 20 years ago. Ugh

- I can only remember that I loaned out my tire jack that never came back when I actively go somewhere far from me and do t have time to replace it. It's been like, years now.

- Waffle House is such a comfort stop. Got "Honeyed" right off the bat and I felt it in my soul.

- Gas prices suck

Four hour meeting this afternoon. Should be illegal.

People are already being dumb today. Make better choices, people.

Gonna need a taco soon.

It must be nice to just show up whenever you want and leave whenever you want and not have to deal with stuff like being on time to meetings or getting work done.

• Up early to get some travel work done
• Did NOT have any diet cokes in the house. So now sipping on a 44 oz Whataburger diet coke.
• Work from home day. Very few meetings so hopefully can play catchup and clean out my inbox.
• Dinner with an old friend tonight at 1860.

And FYI - I DID IT! I hit my sales goal last night, and then smashed it this morning before 8AM with a luxury river cruise booking. Now I have another mini-goal, but not likely to hit it with 1.5 days left in the month.

I don't want to brag, but based on what I've seen so far. I got to be the smartest person in this room by far. And I'm not even that smart. No Tortas either. Disappointed. How about free breakfast tacos? That would make everything better.

That's funny and sad.

Up at 0730 and discovered ants around pet food. Emptied all pet food containers and washed the floor around the pet food area with dish soap and water. Found the entry point for ants in a corner of the dining area, put Raid there then went outside and sprayed the house edges and porch edges.
I have nothing against ants earning an honest living but invading our home is a no-no.
After all that, coffee is made and critters fed here in west Georgia/east Alabama.
Because any day should start with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what humankind and Antkind are up to.

In going through my father in law's phone, he was getting sent so many scam texts and unfortunately fell victim to a few. He ended up buying about $3K worth of various meme coin/crypto, gave half of it away, and what's left is worth about $0.22.

Once you are cleared to eat after the procedure wait a day or two to eat brussels sprouts. You must trust me on this.
