Do any of you use Tablo TV? I've cancelled all of my streaming services (outside of $5 per month for Starz) for the summer. Rather than picking Hulu back up when college football starts, I think I'm going to switch to Sling. $20+ cheaper each month, but they don't carry locals for Columbia, Missouri.

I really only want to record a handful to shows, and I can get all of the networks off of an antenna. A "Tablo 4th Gen 2-Tuner OTA DVR" at a one time $99 cost seems like a bargain to me. I tend to watch my sports live, and not put them on the DVR. I only DVR about 3 or 4 hours worth of stuff per week, so I think 128 GB capacity would be fine.

Curious if any of you have experience with this item.

I've used one for about 6 years. I put an HD antenna in my attic back then and ran the coax down. It's pretty pretty solid overall and highly recommend.

We only get YouTube TV during football season and cancel otherwise.

I used www.tvfool.com to figure out the best direction to point my antenna.

We still use it. Don't really record that much anymore but it's nice to use for OTA.

I used HDHomeRun which is similar with and antenna in my attic. Love not having to pay for locals. You do need to be aware of the upcoming switch to ATSC 3.0 as none of these options work with encrypted ATSC 3.0 signals.
Fine for now but ATSC 1.0 signals may be shut down in a few years.
