Morning peeps.

-Up way too early (5:20). Got maybe 2 max 3 hours of sleep.
-Headed to Brenham for 3 softball games. Should be home by 5 if games stay on time.
-Sipping a gas station Diet Coke. Not the crispiest.
-Work in between games. Or nap. Mama is exhausted.
-Happy cause high is 91 and overcast. Yes please!
-Kind of sad because most likely kiddos 2nd to last travel ball tourney.

Going to try to sous vide steak today. The good cuts were expensive as hell so going with the Choice New York Strip to test the methodology. If I screw it up it won't cost me as much money.

Spent way too much money on an impulse buy of computer parts.

Should probably address my 150/101 blood pressure. The steak should help.

Putting oil in the engine isn't as easy as it used to be either.

• Cats played Cirque du Soleil on the bed at 6 AM
• Tried to get more sleep, but painters showed up at 8 AM and started pressure washing - They were supposed to do the job next Tuesday
• I'm going to try to do the impossible and clean off my desk today
• Was invited to join a film scoring mentorship program and need to make a decision before Monday

Done a lot of "traveling" today. VPN'd to England to watch England sneak by Norway on ITV1. Disconnected the VPN and then connected to Poland, which gets no blackouts on mlb,tv... other than the Apple+ games. F*** you, Apple+! This lets me watch the Cardinals and Royals on mlb.tv, rather than having to buy those teams' individual streams.

My new CPU was supposed to arrive today. USPS says it will be delivered by 9, so maybe? Really, no mailman is going to go to my street after dark!

Did laundry at 9 this morning so that we'd be done in plenty of time for Benny to relax before his noon online Minecraft tournament. This was the last week, and he died. He finished 8th. Not sure how many people there were at the start, but this has been going on 2 or 3 months. He said he was killed in a 5 on 1. Digital legos is violent!

I hear you on that. My Tacoma has a spin-on oil filter right on top of the engine. It's in plain sight when you open the hood. About the easiest oil change ever.

The Prius has a cartridge filter. So I had to get a special tool on amazon to get the cover off. I'm used to it now but kind of a pain compared to the truck.
