Woke up at 5 a.m.

79 degrees in the Fort.

High 99 degrees with a heat index of 106 today.

Peddle something today.

2nd week in a row of 60 plus hours at work.

Try to work on the race car in the morning, other than that , no plans for the weekend.

End of week.
Beautiful day in west Georgia/east Alabama; today I give a presentation for a local men's group on electric/hybrid electric aircraft, emerging aviation technologies and drones including air taxi plans for various companies. But first, the critters are fed, the humans will be fed and coffee is made.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what humankind and the drones at your workplace are up to.

Not as productive an evening as I wanted last night but did learn an easy song.

Slept great until 2:15am and then thought it was time to get up. It wasn't, so I went back to sleep until 5am.

I don't usually eat until 10:30 or 11 but I already had tacos this morning.

Clear a few more things off the plate today so I don't have to come in this weekend.

Only one meeting on the schedule today.

Check-in with a dietician this afternoon.

Pizza tonight!

- sup buttholes
- loading up the truck
- headed to Port A for the week
- nothing but beers, fishin, beach & redneck tomfoolery

Am I the only person who thinks Vegas sucks?

Yes.

• Slept decent
• Up early, had to drop off client docs before heading into the office.
• Morning full of meetings completed.
• Holy cow didn't know it was already noon.
• TXB Diet Coke and sausage bisquit for breakfast
• Not sure what's for lunch
• Hopefully quiet afternoon

Do the day.

Woke up early.
Clients messaging nonstop since 5am.
Thought the world was on fire.
Stock is tanking.
Finally got a break.
I'm going to hammer some drinks tonight.
I need a nap badly.

Busy day at work but not horrible.
Went straight to the brewery.
A good Belgian saison is a fine choice.

In the mail today we got a $100 refund check from my doctor and 20 pages of every charge they have charged me to prove they were giving me a correct refund I guess. They could have just sent me the check with "refund" on it and I would have believed them.

We also got a $200 check from a doctor that did a procedure on my daughter last year. They didn't give a full accounting of everything we paid them. Now I am suspicious. I bet they're trying to cheat us.

First time to drive back into Texas on I10 from the west.

Dinner in El Paso tonight. Had stacked enchiladas with red sauce and a prickly pear margarita x 2. They were yummy. Early bird home tomorrow am.

El Paso is my hometown. Last time I was there was in 2017 to bury my mom at the National cemetery.

I love driving I-10 between El Paso and San Antonio. The scenery is stunning. My North Carolina- raised wife and I did the cross country road trip four years ago and she was very taken aback by the beauty of the west Texas mountains.

I really like El Paso! It's a cool town with a lot of history and things to do. I was mostly not in ELP during this trip, but just to fly into/out of and spend one evening. Next time we will spend a few days here…when it is cooler.

Sorry about your loss. May she live eternally in Heaven with Christ.
