I bungee jumped in Florida about 18 years ago with my brother. I was going through some **** (breakup) and doing something daring appealed to me.

There was an inflatable base so relatively safe. But when I got to the top of the platform there was just some high school kid there hooking everyone in.

I got to the top and turned around to fall backwards and asked, "okay what now?" And the kid goes, "just let go, man"

Great words that spoke to me and I jumped. Exhilarating.

Never concerned myself with her after that.

My daughter bungee jumped over in Switzerland about 15 years ago. It was easily a couple of hundred feet. I pleaded with her to send me a text after the jump saying she was OK. That text came about an hour later than I'd planned.

theres a close up of her on the ground and the physics seem somewhat unbelievable. her body was surprisingly intact.
