A day of worship and rest. Did I mention rest with coffee?

Came back late last night from my son's in-laws new lake house on Richland Chambers. Fun times, especially since my grandson was there.

Lots of busy work this morning followed by a long day of office work due to a deadline tomorrow. World Cup on the IPad in front of me and below the monitor is the plan.

Need to clean both my truck and wife's car due to the bugs. If I can squeeze a mow of the front yard in before it rains, I will.

All of a sudden, a busy day ahead. Damn.

Poor Edgars and Tortas on the south and west side. No honking and nalgas shaking last night or for a long time.

Went to bed too late

Got a few things done yesterday but need to do more today

Will have to go into the office at some point

Need to work in an oil change today

Also need to play guitar

They have now pinned all their hopes on Mexico in the World Cup. Or the USA if Mexico loses

They need some reason to tear up the town

-Thankfully the festivities from last night's Scotland win did not hit me too hard this morning

They don't necessarily tear up the town. There isn't much to tear up on the south or west sides that is with destroying because it is already crappy. They just burn the rubber off their rented tires and shoot off illegal fireworks.

Took Amanda for a spin. Blew a tire.

• Awake before 6AM again.
• Softball game at 8AM. They lost.
• Kiddo home getting ready for mission trip for a week. Her team plans again at 11:20.
• Sitting down to to travel work. Gots to be super productive today.
• Although may take a 30-45 min nap later.
• HEB run to get kiddo snacky snacks before dropping her off at church at 1.

I was going to say the same thing. They aren't like the garbage people up north who celebrate by destroying things. In San Antonio they just like to drive around and have a good time. Now, someone usually gets hurt by falling off the top of their car or something like that, but no property damage or riots.

Currently sunny and 72F with a dewpoint of 54F. Windows are open, and kitties are happy. Watching Troy versus Ole Miss in an elimination game and going grocery shopping in a bit.

Bach to the Future, Part III

- slept in til 9am.
- made some delicious, fancy coffee from Columbia.
- commuted to New Braunfels to do church with parents.
- lunch was lasagna and it was damn good.
- visited with my folks.
- reading my new book, Nothing Tastes As Good, about an obese man that tries an clinical trial for a weight loss drug and becomes a cannibal. So far I like it but it's not for everyone. I like the macabre though.
- need to get ready for the week but probably won't.

There are 72 billboards in the 40 miles between Rapid City, SD and exit 110 on I-90, ask me how I know. That place sucks.

They do have 5 cent coffee though!

And FREE ice water. It was a block long drugstore (we went 14 years ago). It was Americana. I love that stuff.
