We might have another gopher in the yard. He didn't fall for the traps last night. I pulled them before leaving for work because the yard crew should visit today but I'll set them again this evening

The daily "watch court to feel better about my own life" task is done.

A couple got in a big fight, both arrested. There's a bond condition barring them from seeing each other...with the exception of four days next week for their Vegas wedding. They're supposed to cease contact again after the wedding. The woman is going to move into their new house and he's going to move in with his parents.

I don't know about you all, but I think the two lovebirds have a long future together.

I've never understood why Americans absolutely do not care about what NFL players do off of the field (as long as they stand for the anthem before the games). Another NFL player is arrested on domestic charges. This time it's a second arrest, and he is alleged, through evidence found by a forensic nurse, to have strangled his lady. He's 6'4" and 257 lbs. What do you think? He's suspended maybe two games for this and gets a hero's welcome on his return? It's a sure thing his woman takes him back. I don't expect professional athletes to be saints, but the NFL seems to find the very worst people for its rosters.

I also remember meeting my prof about harmonic mitigation (electronics) in my capstone. Never felt dumber than listening to him trying to explain what to do. We've all been there.

I was going through an assignment with him and realized some of the analysis was so flagrantly incorrect there was absolutely zero logical explanation for how I could have come up with it. We chalked it up to the drugs I was on for food poisoning and I gave him the correct analysis.
