From TexAgs Sponsor, American Plumbing Company:

That little sound can turn into a very big problem.

A lot of leaks start small and stay hidden for weeks sometimes months before homeowners realize there's an issue. By then, it can mean higher water bills, damaged flooring, mold, foundation issues, or expensive repairs.

Some of the warning signs:
unexplained increases in your water bill
warm spots on the floor
mildew smells
low water pressure
damp walls or flooring
water sounds when everything's turned off

The team at American Plumbing uses professional leak detection equipment to help locate hidden leaks quickly and accurately whether it's under a slab, behind walls, underground, or somewhere unexpected, before they turn into major repairs.

Catching it early can make all the difference.

No but 3 days after my dishwasher was installed during kitchen renovation, water was coming up from the bedroom floor. Loose water line connection.

looks like dowsing rods to me :-)

It does look a lot like that! However, it allows us to pinpoint the leak so that you don't have to tear up more of your slab than necessary.

Sorry to hear about the dishwasher connection! That is never a fun surprise!

I'll admit it. I'm getting old. I'm constantly walking around the house listening for water like a crazy person.
