• Slept good. Awake at 6AM.
• About to start working. Crazy I was so slow for 2 months and now i'm swamped. The destination wedding stuff isn't helping lol (not complaining).
• Church from the computer this morning. Got a busy day. Hopefully getting the kiddo a new (to her) vehicle today.
• I would love to nap but that isn't in the picture.
• Hoping I can work a good bit of the time in the car but I get carsick and its not going to be the smoothest drive.
• Aggie Softball on the tube at 2PM. Let's BTHO Arizona State TWICE.

Busy day yesterday

Went to a crawfish boil last night. Met a lot of good people

Slept in the same position all night. Didn't move once

Lots to do today including going in to work for a bit

Need to hydrate. Not getting up in the night usually means I didn't hydrate enough yesterday

Short week ahead at work before I head out for my 40th high school reunion

-Walked across the bridge to get coffee
-Going to church; choir is doing Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs
-Run ten miles
-Mow the lawn if it hasn't started raining by then
-Listen to rain and probably do something turnt up like mopping the floor

Had the whole family in last night. Son and daughter in law went to the Astros game. That meant my wife and I got to babysit our grandson. My daughter is also in town so, once grandson went to bed, we got to enjoy some wine and shooting the *****

Made breakfast tacos for breakfast. Just cleaned up. Wife and daughter went to ge their nails done and finish some errands for my daughters trip she's going on tomorrow for 3 weeks or so.

Son, daughter in law, and grandson left a little while ago. Cleaned up the kitchen, now I'm off to do some work. Been a busy day so far; glad it's only 10:00 am.

- Long journey back to middle America. An hour drive + 2 flights + 90 minute drive = 9 hour travel day, yuck. Ce la vie or whatever.
- Had a fantastic weekend with girlfriends in the hill country at a spot called Club Lucy. So cute!
- Missing my babydog.
- Meeting with the tv guy tomorrow morning. Very much need a solution and I don't like any of the options being offered, ugh.

Slept in this morning. I've had two great nights of sleep in a row. Only been four days since my surgery, but I have less pain when I'm trying to sleep at night. Maybe it's the Ketorolac? Apparently that stuff is powerful, and I'm cutoff after tomorrow.

Watching the Royals at the Cardinals. I don't have a whole lot of extravagances in my day-to-day, but the $150 or so I spent on MLB.TV is so worth it. It gives me baseball almost every day until October. I watched 114 Cardinal games last year.

Going to take a break from my game long enough to go grocery shopping. I'll use crutches for this as it's lots more walking than I'm comfortable with at one time.

Daughter's new-to-her vehicle is secured. It was on the other side of Temple.

So happy about that.

In line at the Wings N More on 21 for a country tender salad.

Then back home to do travel work.

I thought today of PHYS 221, Optics and Thermal Physics. The first day of class I was given an impossible homework problem. I hired a Chinese PhD student as my tutor, and he wouldn't take my $10 because he couldn't do the homework either. That was spring 1992. It was my first Q drop.

Today I thought to ask chatgpt.com to do the impossible problem. It did so, successfully.

Ground turkey with salsa, corn, and onion simmered in beef broth and served with refried beans, lettuce, cheese, and plain greek yogurt. It looks like dog food, but tastes just ducky. I was still hungry, so I made a peanut butter sandwich.

All you needed was some good tortillas to wrap all of that inside
