Im no fan of frats in general, but OP definitely had his girl taken by a bro.
They didn't start two weeks out.Sea Speed said:
I'm sorry, why are you upset about camping out? Because they have the tenacity to start 2 weeks out and you only want to complain and be jealous on a message board?

At no point did I say that, Biff.

They used to do those composite photos of the entire stadium during the game. That was when we posted proof here that the ticket office student workers were on the front row of the 2nd deck, 50 yard line for every single game. Good times, good times...Buck Compton said:
You pulled up to 10 tickets (at least half had to be the level of seniority for that day's pull)ā¦ but you told them the deck you wanted and they told you the best available seats and you either confirmed or denied. Filling from 50-yard line, first row, and radiating out.

I think a lot of schools just do season tickets for students, instead of making them gamble on their seats for every game even after paying for a sports pass.Krazykat said:
How do other schools do it? No point in reinventing the wheel.
You camp out for one or two nightsnot a week. Often leaving to go to the bars or elsewhere for a bit. It's basically an extended tailgate.Jugstore Cowboy said:
Never camped out or knew anyone who did. Some people had **** to do for the week before a game.
Also figured out quickly that 50 yard line seats in every deck were always gone, and pulling by seniority got you as close to midfield as you were going to get. And it was fine.

A lot of other schools just have a crappy general admission student section.

I have confidence that there are GB posters who could come up with a better system using Excel.
ETA: Some posters are that good with Excel.
