Not G. Rollie, but the Shake Russell/Dana Cooper show in Rudder was memorable. They were at the top of their game during that tour.

First time I ever saw a musician or band stop a song a few measures in and restart because something wasn't right.

REM with the dB's opening, in Nov '87.

The only other show I saw at G. Rollie was Toto with John Parr opening in '85, so it's sort of obvious which was the better of the two.
