Young men advocating for more THC makes as much sense as chickens advocating for more Colonel Sanders. Just stop--before it's too late.

i really dont care what people consume, but I dont think anyone can make an argument that the liberalization of it has been a net benefit for society or our culture. Not that its the cause of our decaying society, but its definitely a symptom.

It's a symptom AND a cause. Drug culture has established a powerful and dangerous feedback loop.

It's all THC and you never know how your brain will react to that mind altering (brain damaging) molecule.

I agree with 90% of that statement.

It is way different from smoking and way more psychoactive.

The only "brain damaging" thing I've seen is from dudes who were super hard smokers over a few ounces a week. But once they quit they become normal again so to speak

Society is not "declining"- it's changing. Because it always changes. Looks like it's changing in a way you don't like

I will never advocate alcohol over marijuana. For that simple reason alone, I think marijuana legalization is a significant benefit

Alcohol has been consumed by nearly every civilization for millennia. We're adapted to it. No one has EVER seen industrialized THC products like we now have. Alcohol prohibition DID work--and you can certainly make a logical, moral case for it. Just not a political one. But just because we have busted taillights doesn't mean we should break our headlights to be consistent!

Wyld and Wana always have high quality gummies. Love taking one and going on a hike or to the lake. Pure zen.

All the pearl clutchers in this thread... stop whining. no one's making you do it. there's only one group trying to control the other, and it ain't the potheads.

But when the potheads aren't shooting up churches, parades and elementary schools from CIP they are comprising 30% of new male schizophrenia cases. But the rest of us can't opt out of paying for their disability, medicaid, medicare, SNAP, federal housing subsidies, ER visits, hospitalizations, incarcerations etc--all while not paying taxes for the next 40-50 years of their tragic life. You may understand libertarianism, but you don't understand THC.

I'm surprised anyone is opposed to weed around here. Schizophrenia? WTF? I've never seen anyone go schizo from weed. We've ALL known someone who died from alcoholism. And no one here knows anyone who died from years of weed use or a pot overdose.

I have known people who went to the emergency room while on weed. "I'm having a heart attack!" "I can't breathe!" "I can't feel my legs!" Ha ha! What you can't do is handle your high. They were all 100% fine 12 hours later.

Marijuana over activates parts of the brain that contain the highest number of these receptors. This causes the "high" that people feel. Other effects include:

  • altered senses (for example, seeing brighter colors)
  • altered sense of time
  • changes in mood
  • impaired body movement
  • difficulty with thinking and problem-solving
  • impaired memory
  • hallucinations (when taken in high doses)
  • delusions (when taken in high doses)
  • psychosis (risk is highest with regular use of high potency marijuana)

You do you but I think I will stick to natural living and not have to resort to a drug to make me feel better. Hell I don't even like taking Ibuprofen.

It is a mind-altering substance which cannot be debated. I prefer to be in complete control of my physical and mental capacities. Again you do you but let's not pretend it is not much more addictive today than it was decades ago. I know users like to pretend that it is 100% natural and safe but the science shows that it is not. Now it may not be as bad as other drugs but that does not mean you would be better off not using it at all.

Alcohol was first mentioned in this thread as getting a keg for a church barbecue. Also in this thread, one poster advised another "dont be around people" if you take this particular gummie.

Stop being obtuse, you know there's a difference. Not saying either is a societal benefit.
