Marijuana over activates parts of the brain that contain the highest number of these receptors. This causes the "high" that people feel. Other effects include:

  • altered senses (for example, seeing brighter colors)
  • altered sense of time
  • changes in mood
  • impaired body movement
  • difficulty with thinking and problem-solving
  • impaired memory
  • hallucinations (when taken in high doses)
  • delusions (when taken in high doses)
  • psychosis (risk is highest with regular use of high potency marijuana)

You do you but I think I will stick to natural living and not have to resort to a drug to make me feel better. Hell I don't even like taking Ibuprofen.
Marijuana is all natural…
Cocaine also comes from a plant would you say that is natural and safe?

natural Cocaine is a naturally occurring substance in Cocoa plants leaves, so yes it's natural and historically used by South Americans for stamina and a bit of euphoria. What you are referencing is a highly highly processed substance that was once natural. No, I don't think that latter version is natural nor safe.

And you think modern pot is all natural? It is many times more potent and addictive than the stuff our parents smoked in the 60's and 70s. I would say most doctors worth their salt would say modern pot is neither safe nor recommended for daily use.

It helps prevent you from digesting the gummie before any of the good stuff gets in your system. Anything fatty will help with this.

No. Only stoners have seen this movie apparently. Yet it has brainwashed all the rest of us somehow. How does that work exactly? Don't watch a lot of movies. Have four kids, a medical practice and try to stay up on the latest THC studies for the benefits of my young adult patients. Like this one on an unfortunately common and growing diagnosis called "Cannabis Induced Psychosis" which I have seen many times. And I'm not even a psychiatrist or ER doc.

Hey, I respect your opinion and your profession. Definitely appreciate your input. But that article literally says "The Danish epidemiology study does not offer hard-and-fast proof of the cannabis-schizophrenia connection, which could be accomplished only through randomized controlled trials."

I agree that the healthiest lifestyle would have no tobacco, no alcohol, no weed, and certainly no recreational drugs of any other type. I also agree that HEAVY marijuana use by males from 21-30 (referenced in the article), or anyone for that matter, is not good.

But life is short. No one is guaranteed a long and healthy life. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. If a healthy adult wants to consume a special gummie every now and then, sit back and enjoy some Zeppelin and the best tasting popcorn he's ever had, then sleep like a baby, and wake up completely hangover free, well….. he probably had a better night than most.

Doc I will say I and I'm sure we all appreciate your feedback, but I for one know so many successful and brilliant people who take or use THC that your studies just don't hold water in the real world. Moderation is key, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with an adult taking a gummy a few times a month. They will live and most likely thrive and not kill or rape anyone. Anyone who says otherwise is just being obtuse

Good Day Farm has been my go to for several years. Robhots isn't bad, nor are Cheeba Chews. Half of a 10mg gummy will relax you pretty well. A full one will straight up put you in there. They're more common here in Arkansas and in Missouri.

I go to church every Sunday, friend. And I pray for drug addicts regularly. If someone is comparing caffeine and thc, well, that person likely can't be saved by my prayers. I am a terrible sinner.
