i hate crapping at work. those see through slits in the stalls is such a stupid design. and when they line up with the sink/mirror its even worse.
maybe its a feature and not a bug.
luckily, i work in a major multi-tower commercial building so i have about a half dozen restrooms i frequent. allows me a quick walk and some real privacy.

That is one thing I HATED doing. I am very picky about my bathroom. I hate public restrooms. My first job, I remember feeling like taking a dump, I would drive to my apartment about 15 minutes each way just for that. Eventually I became more accepting of public restroom crapping. I hate going in airports as well.

I am with you man. I hate places where I can hear people walk back and forth.
So if I work downtown and cannot go home, I find a restroom in a different floor with not too many people and that becomes my go-to spot. I hate restrooms with traffic and people checking if the stall I am in is occupied. Ugh.

I'm not a mouth breather for whom having to poop washes over me in a sudden realization of an event I thought would never come. Its pretty easy to plan on not being a nasty. I love multiple stalls and making it a communal effort. Hearing another man and pain and talking him through it.

Everybody is different.
I'm a non public pooper, but sometime you just gotta go. I only go into the office a handful of times a month. it's a huge facility, but I have a special bathroom. My "fortress of solitude". No one else uses it because I'm sure most don't know about it and it's out of the way. There are only two stalls - it gives me some level of comfort when I can walk in after lunch and the toilet water is still blue from the nightly cleaning.
