The following is an actual paragraph from an actual book that I have been hired to edit. It's non-fiction.

The Space Economy grows from $1 trillion to $100 trillion. Spacecraft will take millions of tourists, entrepreneurs, and explorers to rotating Love Boat in Space, in minutes, communities on the Moon in hours, and Mars in days. Starships, like the Star Trek Enterprise, will take millions of people to hundreds of Earth-like planets orbiting the stars in the Milky Way Galaxy in weeks.

That's a pretty broad view of non-fiction.

I think my editorial comment would be why don't you re-write this when you aren't high.

Thanks for putting the Love Boat theme in my head. Those of us old enough to have heard it won't forgive you for it for a while.

Can you stay awake long enough to watch Fantasy Island?

My wife is 7-1/2 years younger than me and I had to show her old episodes of both The Love Boat and Fantasy Island for her to believe that they had been actual shows on network TV.

I'd be worried about that in real life now, too. It would probably have a little person all dressed in leather, saying "Ooh, de pain, boss, de pain!" every episode.

That paragraph is a grammatical train wreck. You've got your work cut out for you.

Space always confuses me. It's never cloudy, the sun is always out, yet it always is dark.

Really makes you think.

They made a plot point of it in "The Orville," but you know some freaky stuff went down in the holodeck.
