Before I go to battle with my insurance carrier, just curious what percentage y'all's HO insurance has gone up over the last couple of years.

It went up significantly over the last couple years, and it went up again this year. I'm shopping around now.

Mine almost doubled last year. USAA. I called and they said it was an increase for everyone in my area. They weren't interested in any decrease for a long time customer.

My last 3 yearly increases have been 14%, 25%, and now 35% with the same company. No claims. Terrible.

Mine actually went down a lot. Had an 18 year old roof that finally got totalled in a hail storm. Put a class 4 roof on and my rates plummeted. The extra cost of the shingles will pay for itself in 3 years due to insurance savings.

Mine went up a lot the last 2 years. Then I shopped around and got equal coverage for $700/yr less

I know not home owners but my apartment insurance was 36,000 and my first quote was 72,000 and then 84,000 with higher deductibles

And Lance with State Farm In cCollege station got me to 55,000 with the same deductibles I KNOW HAPPY ABOUT A 50 percent increase

I have his number if anybody wants to give him a try
