I have a cousin who is 57 and both his parents are alive.

My dad was also 57 when both his parents were alive before my grandpa passed away.

So how old is the person and how old are his parents (approximately)?

My great uncle just passed away in August, he would have been 100 in September. His wife is still alive. Their kids are around my moms age and she's 65. Not relevant now, but a couple of months ago it would have been them

The average lifespan 100 years wasn't even 70. It was 57. The average lifespan is now 76.

How so? The average lifespans in 1923 were 56 and 59 for male and female, respectively.

Longevity runs in her family. She has 3 grandparents living, two are 93 and the other is 102.

My mom was 64 when her dad died. Her mom died when she was 69. Her stepmother passed just last week in her 90s, I think 95. My mom is now 79.

A cousin is 66 or has both of his parents are alive. His parents are 82 (aunt) later this year and uncle who's a few years older. Don't know his age because they divorced long ago.

I was 3 when I lost my first grandparent. I don't even remember my maternal grandmother.

You obviously can't and have no clue of what you're saying. So, 100 years ago, the life expectancy was significantly higher than it is today?

My dad is 68. His dad just turned 90 and his mom just turned 88 (their bdays are a few days apart). His father's mother died at 96 from a car wreck.

I'm 57. Dad will be 84 in January. Mom is 82. Dad says he wants to hit triple digits. They have both had some health issues but modern medicine seems to be doing the trick so far.
