I worked with a guy that was in mid 70s with both parents alive.

My grandma died when she was 100, and my oldest aunt was 84 at that time. My grandma had 8 kids, first one at 16 and the last, my mom at 43. My mom has 2 siblings in their 90s right now, and she's 66.

A guy I worked with a long time ago went to his parent's 72nd wedding anniversary...
I think he was about 65 or so...

I am 61 - my brother is 69 and both our parents are alive.
So your grandfather's mother is younger than he is?Ogre09 said:
My dad is 68. His dad just turned 90 and his mom just turned 88 (their bdays are a few days apart). His father's mother died at 96 from a car wreck.

My wife's grandparents are still alive and her aunt just turned 70.
To have both parents around at 70 is quite rare today. It was more common 100 years ago.
