40 something years ago but there was this hot dog vendor cart that was outside movie theater and Post Exchange, I think it was Futima maybe?? I would get two or three of their chili cheese dogs every time I was on base.

We were in Sweden a couple of months ago, and I saw one of those dogs in a really nice convenience store. I thought it was just two dogs shoved in a hollowed-out baguette.

Without a doubt, the unofficial national dish of Philippines is hot dog and rice. Red hot dog cut up and mixed with steamed rice. Add banana ketchup or rooster sauce.
