We played as a kid but had no idea about spiritual mysticism, demons, etc.

We just thought it was a silly way to try to talk to ghosts.

They sold it in the game isle at KMart.

I failed to mention that I levitated, had projectile vomiting, and spoke languages I had not previously acquired but other than that there were no side effects.
