I didn't go to the TS show. Just saw lots of roving gaggles of women pre-gaming downtown before riding the metro rail to NRG.

As for Lizzo, that's a hard pass.

She's an entertainer... with some "musician" built in.

Her shows are "productions" in the truest sense of the word. The music... near secondary.

A real "show" would be something like Deep Purple... Ted Nugent... Dolly Parton. Less emphasis on the bells and whistles... but moreso on actually playing a guitar, drums, bass, keyboards. You know: talent.

Just checked the 3 nights she's playing in Los Angeles at the far-too-huge stadium. Nosebleed prices through the roof. Told my wife, "Sorry. Not happening. How about Y&T at the Coach House? Zombie and Cooper at the Honda Center?".

Swift has talent... but her success is marketing smoke and mirrors. I mean... Skrillex? What is that ****, and why are people are buying it?

Overall, I like Taylor Swift too. She seems like a clean artist, no drugs, no Kardashianesque drama all the time. Some of her songs are good to listen to, though she doesn't speak to me.
