Anyone remember agtimes.com? Not sure what happened to that site, but it's gone (long gone, I think).

My first online forum for College Football and Aggie sports was on the CNNSI website, they actually had forums but with that awful view where you saw a tree of posts/replies and had to click on each item in the tree to read it. That was Fall of 1995, my last year as a student, and I chose the username "Big12Ag" because I was excited we were leaving the SWC and joining the Big 12 in 1996.

The 360/GoBig12 forum incarnations followed, and then on to Texags in 98 I think, before that late 99 crash/reset. Was active on Texags up until 2005 or so then transitioned over the the Aggieyell forum, which was great from 2005-2015 or so. Now back mostly here due to volume of posts on so many topics and interests, and ignore option allows you to curate a fair amount.

I think Olin needs to write an in depth biography of Texags answering all the questions asked on this thread. Would make for a good off-season article.

I started on the ESPN chat forums for college football. It was pretty fast paced back in 95 or so.

Later ended up with an account on a place we knew as Neil's Chat. Lots of Big12 people there. My roommate ended up meeting some women from that site.

Some people left that one and went to Blacque Power. More Big12 chat.

Found TexAgs. Lurked a long time. It was very therapeutic when bonfire fell. Did try to visit after that crap game in Lubbock that crashed the site. Still think that holding call on the last drive was bullcrap. But the Ags never should have let it get that close.

It was around until a few years ago. Ed (TOAg) passed away and it was his site.

Remember when LHB set up a string of sites patterned after Hornfans for Big12 schools that lasted a few months, what was the Ag site called?
