There's no big deal about her. Just another manufactured "country" music "artist" with a blind fashion advisor squeezing her into a saturated "country music" market. I predict that within 10 years she'll be off the map... a has-been who never really "was".
My wife Spotifies "country" music every morning, so I "listen" to a lot of the same sounding crap. Half the names of the "artists" are, too, manufactured.
When she leaves the room for a moment I switch over to some older Vandenberg, Megadeth, or something half-listenable.
My opinion is qualified.
I'm a little "confused" with your use of "quotation marks".
I'm refering to the new country. I've attended country music concerts with my wife (Rascal Flatts, Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith, Lady A..., Old Dominion, and more). Not my cup of tea, but she suffered through KISS, Maiden, Waters, and some heavier acts. I owed her.
"Country"/"Country Music" = pop with a little twang (The new-er stuff)
"Artist" = nothing original. Recipe. Ingredients. Mix. Cook. All sound the same.
"Listen" = background noise in the morning before she leaves for work.
I will drag her to AC/DC on their next run.
That's all.
Edit: 10 years quickly flies.
