More and more people like animals better than people. It's really bizarre and worrisome. I always tell my kids to run from people like that. I think it started with social media.

It's allowed because NO ONE will say a GD'ed thing to them. That probably includes you. Did you do anything about it?

This is a huge pet peeve of mine. I love dogs, but I don't want to see them in grocery stores, restaurants, etc. It's a pet, not your ****ing child.

I'm glad that as a society that we've evolved beyond the emotional support animal bullcrap and now people are unabashedly taking their dogs places just because they want to. This seems healthier than the weird game of make believe where we had to pretend that A) everyone had some emotional trauma worth diagnosing and B) taking your dog with you to the grocery store would fix it.

I love dogs but I think it's very strange to take your dog to the pharmacy or whatever.

I enjoy walking up and asking them where they sent their dog to be trained as a service dog. The look of both surprise and panic you get is priceless.

Dogs should only go where they property owner advertises they are welcome so people can decide if they want to be around dogs or not. I think taking a dog everywhere as if it is a child is self absorbed and lacks courtesy for those who dislike dogs or may not want them to be present in certain circumstances. Seems pretty simple to me.

Imagine being so concerned about what people you don't even know are doing.

It's because I used to work at Lowe's, and I told every person with a dog that dogs weren't allowed in the store. The #1 response was, "I'll just take my business to Home Depot."

Can't stand people with dogs in the grocery store, especially those who carry them and are reaching in the meat or produce area. I love dogs but for crying out loud can you not be away just for a short time to take care of shopping?

Dog everywhere people are just "I brought my python to the park" people who are scared of snakes. Yes you're just as weird as that loon you make fun of at the renaissance festival.

Peeve is a strange name for a dog.

Went to wings N More in CS and college aged girl had a dog with her inside the restaurant.
Not on the floor.. sitting on the booth seat resting his head on the table.

Saw two dogs at lowes get aggressive and started barking and growling .. one lady couldn't restrain her dog on her own and an employee had to keep him back.

Saw a dog take a dump in a HEB and dog owners got all upset and threw a fit when they were told to take the dog outside the store

Are you saying I can't take my dog to the park?

I loved my dog and he was extremely well behaved but the only public place I really took him were dog friendly restaurants when we ate on the patio. And that was more when we were out of town. He went to friends/family houses all the time but they wanted me to bring him. I didn't feel the need to take him grocery shopping with me or anything like that.
