Apparently they are coming to Texas? Should I be excited?

In June 2021, Bojangles disclosed its launch into Houston and Dallas Fort-Worth (DFW) with six franchised stores and 15 corporate locations. Less than seven months later, the brand has now signed a total of five multi-unit agreements and plans to build 30 corporate-owned stores, to bring approximately 50 new restaurants to the greater Austin, DFW, Houston and San Antonio markets in the coming years.

Bojangles franchised locations in Texas will be dispersed throughout Austin, DFW, Houston and San Antonio and the corporate-owned restaurants will be built in DFW and Houston. In addition to the development agreements already signed, Bojangles sees potential to open more than 100 units in Texas over the next seven to ten years.

I prefer Popeye's but Bojangles is decent. It's better than KFC or Church's.

My mothers family was from the Florida keys and I'd spend every summer there growing up. I remember we'd alway get bojangles chicken to take on the boat during the day while lobstering or fishing. Don't think I've had it in 20 years though.

Bojangles is kinda like less ghetto version of popeyes. Their biscuit sandwiches for breakfast are great. And for when you don't know if you want hash browns or tator tots, there's the Bo-Rounds for your fried potato enjoyment.

When I spent time there many years ago I was impressed with their fried chicken. Incredibly greasy, juicy, and tasty. Excellent sweet tea as well.

My credit card statement would agree to this breakfast biscuit bojangles craze. My son recently went to Virginia for college and discovered Bojangles breakfast. I had to threaten certain things to stop the $9.97 charge almost every morning at Bojangles.

Eaten at a few different Bojangles locations.

Like a lot of fast food locations, it depends on local management and who they can find to staff it.

Would choose Popeyes over it, but I've liked the well managed locations.

My son worked at Zaxby's in high school. He has not been back to eat there since he quit. He turns down the suggestion if I ever suggest Zaxby's as a dining option.

We live in such a glorious age of chickenry.

You've got your Raising Canes/Laynes/Zaxbys style with the basic strips/fries/toast/dipping sauce.

There's the traditionals like KFC/Popeyes/Bojangles/Church's.

There's the Bush's/Golden Chick/Chicken E style with the tenders and gravy plus traditional bone in.

And don't sleep on the Krispy Krunchy Chicken or Chester's you see in gas stations. It's damn good.
