$219 a month, every month.
So the greatest civilization is one where all citizens are equally armed and can only be persuaded, never forced. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

I was averaging $335/mo for a 3700sqft house with pool pumps going 8hrs/day. AC was set between 74-76. Winter bills were $185, summer bills were $400+. Gross.

Added solar panels to the roof that went operational toward the end of May. June bill was $73 with all the heat. July may be less. Hoping for some $0 bills in the fall/winter months.

June 5-July 5 was $250. The AC has literally not stopped running for more than 20 minutes over the past two weeks. Dreading the upcoming bill for that reason.

2600sf one story house that has lots of huge windows, half of which are original to the (1924) house and not at all energy efficient.

Water bill for the same period was $155, which is more than double what it usually is, but I'm trying to keep the lawn I installed in March alive, so no regrets.

You're not too far from us, check out constellation. We are in an 80 year old house, with little insulation. They had the best rates.

You might want to look into heat-reducing window film. I don't have any recs, just a suggestion.

3500 sq/ft one story and we were at $324 last month. Highest bill we've ever had. We keep bedroom AC at 78 during the day and 70 at night. Rest of the house is at 74 during the day and 71 at night.

$435 this month but WPCA jumped up to $161 from our co-op. They sent a message they had tried to shield us from the increase due to high gas prices but that ran out and they had to pass it on to us.

2200 SF single story ranch built in 1962. I average about $120 / month. It's about $200 for 3-4 months and around $80 the rest of the year. Previous owner's did a lot to help with efficiency (windows, insulation, well ventilated attic, etc)

I got a Tesla a few weeks ago and plan on doing most of the charging at home. I'm curious how that is going to impact the bill.

~ $100 for a 3200 SF house with pool. I have free nights (8pm-5am) with TXU.

I blast the AC at night and pretty much all night as it can't reach the temperature I have it set to. It doesn't need to run during the day. I work from home and it never gets above 78F before 8pm where it turns on again.

I run the pool pump from 8pm - 5am to cool the pool down as much as possible.

Now my water bill last month... $428

I try to look at it in terms of $ per day and all that I enjoy for only about 10 bucks.
If I knew the power was going to be out overnight, I wouldn't hesitate to drop a hundred on a cheap hotel so the wife and I could have a/c, lights, hot showers, tv, microwave...etc
