Ok ok. I was driving from muscat oman to another town across what damn near seemed like the entire country. 8 hour drive. My driver insists we stop in this little field and see his friend who herds camels and goats, so we do. Next thing you know he is pulling milk fresh from the camel and goat moms and putting it in teacups for us to drink. I was not so much in to it but what kind of person would I be if I declined, so I drank some camel and got milk and ate a few dates and was on my way. Wildest experience.

Got caught by the cops riding on top of the family station wagon holding on to the luggage rack. I had just moved back into the dorms in Galveston, and we had barely made it out of the campus parking lot when the campus cop pulled us over.

Both. 2 separate occasions. Actually this one jobsite i was on there was a party every Saturday for the crew and camel meat was served every week. I was there for over 2 months before someone told me I had been eating camel.

Caught six species of billfish: Atlantic blue marlin, Pacific blue marlin, Striped marlin, Swordfish, Atlantic sailfish, and White marlin. Plus mako, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, mahimahi, cobia, tarpon, snook and more. I've got a bad fishing habit.

I did look into flight warrant officer training when I was 19, in 2004. I would have incurred 6 more years of service obligation and a bunch of other stuff that I was not ready for at that age. Pirate04 is in her 30s and was probably older than 19 when she decided to go flight warrant.

Broke down in Armstrong, Tx in the middle of no where coming back from South Padre and ended up mopping and cleaning the toilet in an illegal alien holding cell as partial payment for help. I should've been one of those gone missing and never seen again stories.

Told on another thread but I died in a car accident. Not sure many here can say that.

Also been blown up six times. Twice on foot, four in vehicle. Multiple concussions finally turned my brain into enough mush that after the last one I couldn't look up without falling over or walk up stairs or hold a pen. Got pieced back together enough to work as a human again and somehow managed to become an engineer (as of this semester, WHOOP!). I despise celebrating myself but I am proud of that last one.

Also survived being a sniper target. And got revenge on his sniper friend a few weeks later by firing a Javelin into his hide. My cool guy moment in service.
