blame your brother not her.

its like the people who blame the person their spouse cheated on and not the spouse themselves. they're the ones that ****ed up. they could have stayed away from [insert evil smelly person here] and all would have been fine.

And I have tried to build a relationship, but its kind of tough when they're always visiting her family to watch her nephews go "trick-or-treating" or watch some tee-ball game.

Heaven forbid their family remain close. Maybe your brother likes her family and likes being a part of it.

As for flip flopping, I swore up and down that I was going to wait til I was married to have sex, that I would like to marry a baptist, etc etc. People do change their criteria/ideal whether for the better or the worse. Sometimes meeting the right person for you shows you that what you thought mattered doesn't matter at all to you. OBviously, the Catholic thing isn't that big of a deal to him like it used to be. People change. Suck it up because he married her, and he's the one who loves her- that's not your choice. Who are you to judge what your brother wants or should want?

If it makes you feel any better, I'm not too crazy about my sister's new bf either...
