We had a rapport and liked to poke at each other occasionally and rile the other up. In that case I couldn't help but notice how his demeanour/opinion changed and couldn't help but poke fun. I think he took that a little more seriously than I meant it.

But just to echo what I posted over on the EB, the stuff he's done is despicable and that is beyond dispute. It's just tough to reconcile that with the guy I thought I knew for 10 years.

I don't want anyone to think I am trying to defend him or his actions in any way.

Not sure how many posts were deleted, but I'm familiar with all the twists and turns, and have followed the various threads since at least the first half of the various Page 1's.

People into underage stuff don't get well. Just a matter of how long and well they are able to suppress the urge that's always there

The other thing that is important to note is numerous Texags posters have known about the felonies for years. Any time anyone has posted anything at all about the felonies with evidence they were deleted and the poster banned.

This isn't a new thing this guy being protected, but many many years of this happening.

If he wasn't a convicted sex offender who almost lost an athlete his scholarship there would be no reason to complain. However, Texags is supposed to protect student athletes so how they reconcile their ethics on this one is difficult at best.
